On Wednesday, August 20 The Class reviewed about formatting their work from part 6 in your book. The assignment was:
Hit START
Go to "My Document"
Make 3 Folders. Name 1 folder "Your Name - Main folder". Name the second folder "Your Name - Subfolder 1. Name third folder "Your Name - Subfolder 2.
Go to START > Go to ALL PROGRAMS > Go to Accessories > Go down to Wordpad > Left Click.
Now you are in WORDPAD. Write 2 sentences. Highlight 1 sentence than hit the BOLD button. Put your cursor in the middle of the page on no writing, than left click. Go to File on the Menu Bar. Hit "Save As". Check the Save in: (It must be in "My Documents"). Than check "file name:" at the bottom. Type for file name: "Your name - file 1". Hit the save button on the bottom right. Go to File on the Menu bar hit New. Write 2 sentences. Highlight 1 sentence than hit the UNDERLINE button. Put your cursor in the middle of the page on no writing, than lift click. So to the File on the Menu Bar, Hit "Save As". Check the Save in:(It must be in "My Documents"). Than check "File Name:" at the bottom. Type the File Name: "Your name - file 2. Hit the save botton on the bottom right. NOW HIT THE X (CLOSE ) BUTTON. Go to "My Document" Drag FILE 1 into SUBFOLDER 1. Drage FILE 2 into SUBFOLDER 2. Drag SUBFOLDER 1 into MAIN FOLDER. Drag SUBFOLDER 2 into MAIN FOLDER.
You have now made folders, subfolders, and files. You also organized them in one setting.
